Milan, Italy

This is my second time in Milan and I have to admit that I didn’t give it a chance the first time around. Although, I was there specifically for an Asian Dub Foundation concert and the evening before AC & Inter played a Champions League match so the city was in shambles and not the smartest choice to go out considering the rivalry and ensuing drama.

Any way, fast forward to 2017 and I am back and let me tell you – Im not much for northern Italy as my heart is in Napoli but Milan changed my mind about her this time around. Navigli District is the one – running alongside a small canal – boasting bar after bar offering flat rate pricing for all-you-can-eat buffets and drink specials – it’s a literal free for all that attracts people of all walks and ages and was a great, not to mention delicious, experience!

Also made our way to the typical attractions, I was happy to see a lot of ancient Roman monuments around and not so messed up like most of the youth like to do in other Italian cities. All in all, Milan left a sweet taste in my mouth and I look forward to coming back and exploring a little longer than the 1.5 days I invested!
